One of our union rights is to facilitate regular monthly meetings with management, human resources, and labor relations to discuss ongoing workplace issues. Currently we have representatives from each service center with the exceptions of BD, N. Mpls, and SD. We are working to get representatives from each location to be present at the monthly meetings. WIN: Changes to lobby seating at Midtown SC. After repeatedly addressing social distancing concerns in Midtown's lobby area Workplace Safety was forced to become involved and change the layout of MT’s lobby area resulting in a win for the union!

Additional topics discussed include the reopening of our service center at the GC and DVS coming back into the MT SC. The GC SC is set to have staff return Monday May, 17 with a soft launch occurring on Wednesday May, 19. DVS came back into MT SC on Monday, May 3 having limited walk-ins during the soft launch and limited appointments thereafter. DVS is currently not utilizing the MT SC lobby area and staff are not expected to see more than an additional 5 “passing” customers a day.
